NOTE: The Mythnic was cancelled for 2020 and never seemed practical to pick up again due to the changing situation with COVID before the meetup shut down entirely. Like the PantheaCon 'Kin-Meet, the event information below is provided for historical purposes to give you an idea of what we had in mind. This would have been held at Huddart Park in San Mateo County.

What's a "Mythnic", you may ask? It's a Mythic Picnic! At this one-day gathering (minigather) of Other-folk, we may have a couple of workshops or discussions on topics of interest to otherkind; rituals or energy workings; majikal crafting sessions; a mythic poetry circle around a barbecue or other campfire subsitute; and plenty of time for games, walking in the woods, and just plain hanging out.

Facilities: The picnic site has tables, built-in barbecues, potable water, and flush toilets. A small pavilion that could be suitable for workshops is set off from the dining area. Parking is right next to the site.

Food and Drink: Plan to bring your own meals, snacks, and beverages. Some meat and vegetables to share for grilling may be available, depending on demand (there is a question about this on the registration form).

Crafters: Do you make something majikal? This could include jewelry, artwork, clothing, zines or chapbooks, homemade oils and incense, musical recordings... there is no fee to bring some of your wares along for perusal, but please ask first.

Registration: Deadline is Saturday, June 6th. There is no set event fee, but a contribution of $10-15 is suggested to help share the cost of reserving the site. (Pay what you can; no one turned away for lack of funds.) A $6 vehicle entrance fee is due directly to the park.
